Cascade Aerospace Engineering

CAE uses a range of analysis tools that are commonly found within Engineering in general and Aerospace in particular.

Finite Element Analysis is carried out using the MSC.PATRAN pre and post processor together with MSC.NASTRAN as the solver. Output files are available in a wide range of formats to suit many other software packages.

MathCad is utilised when performing traditional calculations and writing detailed reports. This software is becoming an industry standard due to its range of interfaces and ease of use.

Although much of the Fatigue and Damage tolerance analysis carried out by CAE is on bespoke customer software, NASGRO is available on site where a more generic code is appropriate to the task.

Microsoft Office products are used for more general tasks.
